Our Vision for the Future

Our vision is to see students develop
1) a life long love of learning (we do this by making learning fun with a gamified curriculum), and
2) a passion to use their knowledge (we do this by ensuring all learning is project based), and
3) a habit of consistent iterative improvement (this is so powerful).

Imagine your child possessing these three stellar traits for success. Our aim is to help them get there.

Wonderful for my daughter because it lets her learn completely at her own pace and she has all the individualized tutor support she needs at her fingertips when she can't figure something out herself.

My son wasn't confident doing even the easiest of coding and would often just give up out of frustration...he has [now] absolutely excelled.

FAQs

What days/times are lessons?

Lessons run once per week during school terms. Please select your child's school in the sign up form to find out what day/time lessons run at their school.

What do students learn?

Our coding curriculum uses project based learning. We cater for beginner to advanced students. Students each learn at their own pace. They first learn coding basics by making a website, and then move onto creating games and apps. Languages learnt include HTML, CSS and JavaScript (including object orientated programming & conditionals/loops etc.)

What happens if we miss a lesson?

We send you a text with a link that can be used to schedule a free makeup lesson at 4pm, 5pm or 6pm Mon to Fri (to be attended online from home). Make up lessons are optional and you can choose to just continue in the following week's lesson at school instead.

What device/software does my child need to access the activity?

Students will need headphones/earphones, a device (e.g. laptop) that can connect to their school internet, and a physical keyboard if it is not included on the device (a touch screen keyboard will not be suitable).

So far I've learnt how to code a website and a game. It's fun. It's always just a little bit hard, which is good because it means I'm learning. Having a tutor online to help when I need it is so great.

Student

My son's tutor offers excellent support and guidance, encouraging him to learn and grow...He has gained considerable coding knowledge, understanding and skills, that I believe are essential in preparing him well for the future.

All of my friends who have younger siblings...my number one piece of advice is: You should learn how to program.
